I feel sorry for Enigma Boy/Terunosuke. He wasn't a nice guy but he didn't deserve to spend eternity being turned into an immobile, inanimate sentient book for taking a few hostages. Escpecially since the only other character in the series that gets a similar punishment is a Complete Monster who raped and killed countless people. Talk about Moral Dissonance and And I must scream.

There's so much over the top kinky stuff and genuinely disturbing body horror in the series, definitely something I enjoy about it.

Also, I get what OP is saying but I honestly love the arbitrary cruelty of JJBA, the way innocent characters suffer and sometimes evil characters get away with awful things (or get a horrifying punishment way worse than what they did) and there's rarely a simple happy ending is kind of cathartic to me somehow. I guess it feels realistic in an odd way, even though the situations are very fantastical.

Oh I agree with you so much! I love that the JJBA universe is just so unfair. Even the "happy" ending for part 6 is so bittersweet.

Personally, my favourite Jojo is Johnny, and his end was pretty horrific. What a way to go!
