Yes, I'm not a fan of the huge guy, tiny girl trope either, so combining the two is double ick.

And the sad thing is, as a very short man, I LOVE size difference stuff. Mostly if it's gay, because... I'm also very gay, but honestly tiny guy, huge girl is SO cool and I wish there was more of it! But because it tends to feed into the WORST type of hetero gender stereotype bullshit when the man is so much bigger than the woman, it's like... sucking the enjoyment out of it. Not to say there haven't been ships I like where the man happens to be bigger than the woman, but like... the more of a Deal they make out of it, the more it's like ugh.

Like, Mulder and Scully *happen* to have a height difference, but they don't emphasize her as tiny, she's shown to be very physically capable. They did that one photoshoot where she has him in a bridal carry. LOVE that. But you show me a romance novel that's just reskinned reylo and I could not be more bored by the size difference.
