There's a vintage toy store in my town, they buy and sell toys and have stuff from my mom's childhood through to my youngest sister's, very wide range. Went there in December to get said sister something for Christmas, and while I was there very much NOT spending money on myself, I saw the G1 My Little Pony shelf... and yeah, I... I might go back and get something I loved when I was a kid.

If the one I fell in love with that would have easily been in my budget any time but right before Christmas has sold out before I get over to that side of town, I can always hope that they have something else I have fond childhood memories of. I lost a lot of stuff in a traumatic emergency move and buying myself a little piece of that that I can keep on my bookshelf would feel good. I'm really hoping they get in a specific couple of McDonald's toys that my grandmother had at her house for her visiting grandchildren to play with, when I was there they had some other familiar happy meal toys in the case, but they have a lot of turnover, so one never knows.
