I noticed this too and didn't love it. Hopefully with the next book aging up the cast they can make any little extra sounds like this seem more natural. I would hear Harry's narrator panting as he ran and think, "Why is the director telling him to do this?" Poor kid probably had to stand in that booth giving different huff sounds for ages. They shouldn't be so afraid of stretches without sound effects.

Loving the audiobooks overall though - I never realized how little visuals mattered to me so this feels way more like we're getting the versions of the movies we deserve. Particularly with a trio that's able to act.

Yeah! I agree with you that overall I really love these audiobooks. I think they did a fantastic job for the most part, it wasn't until the 3rd one that I started feeling like the pants and sighs were overdone. Mainly when it got to the ending part and they were doing lots of running around. I am so hyped for the 4th one because it's my favorite book. I do really love that we're getting, like, the whole entire story with nothing changed or cut out, just enhanced with the full cast and the extra sound effects.
