I'm tired of authors' obvious size difference kinks in fiction. I don't mean a guy just being tall - it's the over-describing of how BIG the male character is and how tiny the female character is by comparison. Enough!

I know I usually like them with an added bit of lore/au where the smaller person has some kind of elastigirl powers so it doesn't like hurt them but it's extra hot and sexy, XD

Sorry OP I love a size difference, but I also love it when the smaller partner is calling the shots. Something about a bigger person being gentle and listening to their lover just Gets Me in the right place emotionally.

I do like size difference in a kinky way sometimes, but I’m definitely tired of it being the default in hetero smut (and with strictly “big man, little woman”).

Yeah, the constant HUGE MAN/tiny woman thing is the big one that bugs me. I'm not into feeling like a tiny, fragile, little thing next to a man twice my size, so I wish it wasn't so prevalent.

I have seen complaints about it in same sex pairings, though, but mostly in regards to people ignoring canon character descriptions or actors' actual bodies. Making one person much taller when the two characters are canonically the same size.

If they're kinking on it, no problem. Go big (and small)! It's people who think "huuuuuge man teeny tiny woman" is the ideal that bother me. Especially when they try to shame smaller men and/or bigger women.

Damn, I like it. Even in M/F with smaller woman. But I get you OP, it's an overdone trope that can be a bit hard to avoid, especially in mainstream.

I am neutral on it as a thing but there's a common thread of users whining endlessly when authors don't emphasize size differences enough in their fics, and that itself is incredibly annoying and dumb.
