I do like size difference in a kinky way sometimes, but I’m definitely tired of it being the default in hetero smut (and with strictly “big man, little woman”).

Yeah, the constant HUGE MAN/tiny woman thing is the big one that bugs me. I'm not into feeling like a tiny, fragile, little thing next to a man twice my size, so I wish it wasn't so prevalent.

I have seen complaints about it in same sex pairings, though, but mostly in regards to people ignoring canon character descriptions or actors' actual bodies. Making one person much taller when the two characters are canonically the same size.

As a tall, big Brienne-style woman, I just can't relate to it and I feel weird when I read it. And I cannot get into (het) smut like that at all.

I'm usually the same size as my male partners, or a few inches shorter.

Same, and same. I also don't mind guys being shorter than me and have dated quite a few. The Default Het Size Difference Kink is unrelatable and does nothing for me.

The few times a woman is the same size or nearly the same size as her partner in canon media and fanworks twist their two-inch height difference into yet another ITSY BITSY WAIF and BIG HULKY MAN to pander to the aforementioned size kink is so tiresome to me, too. Look, finally, some food for me to eat! ...Oh wait, apparently this is disgusting to others unless they smother it in their own kink ketchup, I guess.

I wonder if this is why I so often go for dudeporn for het stuff; if you filter correctly you can find exactly what I want, by people who actually like it.
