I am in this online some basic table top gaming group. There is a some turn over going on. And more and more people are just being "rules can fuck off I am doing what I want". And for the record we discuss pre-game are we going to bend some rules or not. Yesterday one member rage-quit because her round was disqualified and we tried to explain why but she just noped out. Now there is a discourse going on.
I wanted to say that I am trying not to engage.
Annnnnnddddd I did. Here goes my Sunday fighting about shitty games rules.

I can't stand people like this. Like, okay, it's cool someone wants to be themselves. But ignoring rules or history of an established group just because they feel like it, nevermind everything and everyone else? They can start their own damn game elsewhere.

We have this one guy (and of course it's a guy) who is all being so quirky so spontaneous. And he always tries to bend the rules in this toddler behaviour of finding there the parent is going to break. This is a man in his 40s for the record.
Frankly I've started avoiding days he is in.

Ohhhhh, just reading this pissed me off! No, rules CANNOT fuck off, YOU can fuck off if you don't like the rules. I hate it when people come into a fandom space with an established culture and then want to change it up. No, go make your own space if you want to change things.

Also this rules are just play mechanics. You need them to just... play
