I saw someone complaining the other day about all the "ugly women" they were casting. They finally shared a picture and it was someone who was absolutely stunning. Dude just had brainrot from anime or something.

Also, this might shock you, but the examples they gave were all non-white women. Coincidence?

The one I hear complained about the most is Bella Ramsey which honestly is kind of fair.

Aww I think she's a cutie.

I don't think she looks bad at all.

Yeah they aren’t attractive at all. But it’s funny that everyone who claims they are attractive are calling them she.

She has stated she doesn't care what pronouns people use. Has that changed?

(Anonymous) 2026-02-09 01:42 am (UTC)(link)
I just looked it up amd yeah that person is just trolling.

"They have consistently emphasized that they are open to any pronouns and are not strictly attached to any specific set."

They've specifically said that people shouldn't stress and that any pronouns are fine.

Nah I had no idea because they actually had said very differently at first. I don’t follow them so I didn’t know. And the previous responses came off as performative. They’re an amazing actor and I can understand being drawn to talent and charisma but it’s patently wrong to call them attractive.

I've actually never seen anything they are in but I think they're cute. There's this one pic I saw of them in a tux where I thought they looked really good. Just because you don't find someone attractive doesn't mean others can't.

And the only gender announcement I've seen of them said they like they/them but are comfortable with all pronouns, so it isnt new.

I get you, anon. I wish that some people didn't get so defensive over the idea that not everyone is attractive, especially when it comes to women/AFAB people. Instead of trying to pretend that everyone is beautiful in their own way, why don't we instead embrace the idea that it's OK not to be attractive? It's OK to be average or even kind of ugly? That your level of attractiveness is not the most important thing about you? Not everyone is or can be hot. I've accepted this in my own life, fwiw. I have very distinctive facial features and I am, at best, average. It's OK. I don't want somebody to lie to me and tell me I'm beautiful. Instead, let's promote the idea that your value shouldn't be based on your beauty. I get that our society in general values beautiful women, but let's push back against that, rather than trying to act like everyone is beautiful.

Oof

But, can't disagree.
