Oh man, this is a word I do my best not to use. Not because it can't be used correctly, but because any and every mention of it viscerally reminds me of a sports reporter specifically using the title "A Chink in the Armour" to refer to how the top, very Chinese player, performed poorly and cost them the game. They deleted it, but it just stuck to me. I've never been able to hear that word without thinking of that article and how very badly they fucked up.
