It's a good place to vent, ask questions about the complicated legal processes of handling a parent who's making bad, destructive decisions, and just general support. This subreddit also lacks the judgment you often encounter in other places by people who don't understand toxic family dynamics or parents who aren't loving and supportive.

I found it helpful because it's sometimes depressing to hear how common your problems are, but on the other hand, at least you're not alone.
