(Anonymous) 2026-02-13 08:53 am (UTC)(link)Maybe, but as I recall it, that whole subplot was kind of superfluous? Removing Molly's overly credulous reaction would have made the book a bit shorter and had no other effect.
... I can't even say it was to play into the series's reputation as doorstoppers because that started with GoF.
maybe jowling is kind of a bad writer or something idk
