That's basically part of the appeal. Brigerton is decent. I like that the show is aware of selling a polished fantasy rather than be accurate and gritty. I would rather they go over the top than try to tamp down the camp. The show lacks in a lot of ways, but it's got enough good going for it that I enjoy watching.
