It annoys me how, wheenever an artist gets outed as being problematic or an abuser there is always a bunch of people who act as if they either never liked the artists work and/or the artists work was always garbage. I saw it when the Neil Gaiman sex assault allegations, JK rowling's transphobia, R Kelly CSA allegations and the Michael Jackson CSA allegatations came out. Just because an artist does something probleamtic doesn't retroactively make a piece of art bad. Just because Gaiman was an alleged sexual abuser, doesn't make Good Omens a bad book. MJ being an alleged pedo doesn't meake "beat it" a bad song.

If anyone had any doubt at all about his guilt (I didn't!) I'd hope that critically examining WHY Gaiman chose to speak out at this time would make up your mind. He hasn't shared any new info except to deny the sexual assault allegations again. He ignores the fact that his own account, from his own POV, still makes him sound like a sexual predator.

And oh by the way... he's working on a new book and it's totally going to rock, you guys! Even bigger than his previous, award-winning bestselling novel! Because there's nothing more inspiring than being outed as a rapist. Be sure to pre-order that awesome book on Amazon when the announcement comes, mmkay?

I got my trip booked! We changed from first week of March to last week of April. D:: Now I'll be freaking out over spending money all weekend, lol. Other than that, hopefully finishing my needlefelted stegosaurus and relaxing. It should be okay weather to go on some walks!
