Re-reading Sonic the Hedgehog: Infection (Volume 4) comic so I can write a coherent review/meta/rambling about it. Been really busy this week, so it's been slow work.

I also have The Booklover's Library checked out for non-fandom related reading, and I don't intend to post about that. It's the first honest-to-goodness novel I've made an earnest attempt at reading, after months of just reading fanfic. I'd forgotten how much I missed the descriptive prose and 'worldbuilding' in tradpub works. (This takes place in actual historic WWII London, so probably not technically worldbuilding, but the author put in their research.)

Just finished The Elementals by Michael McDowell! It was really good. Going to start Buffalo Hunter Hunter. For fanfic, I'm reading this long One Piece fic. Check the tags, it is a rough one. https://archiveofourown.org/works/51080527/chapters/129055600 Also about to start a X-Men comics. The Dark Phoenix saga?

Just started reading Agnes Aubert's Mystical Cat Shelter. Enjoying so far. Was looking for some low-key, enjoyable fantasy.

The World According to Cunk by Philomena Cunk. My wife had never heard of her, so I've been having a great time making introductions.

Philomena Cunk is the greatest.

The Stand. Really enjoying it so far, even if its sheer size makes it awkward to read in bed.

Just finished How to Behave Badly in Elizabethan England: A Guide for Knaves, Fools, Harlots, Cuckolds, Drunkards, Liars, Thieves, and Braggarts, which was one of those "the bits of history they don't generally teach in school" kind of books and pretty funny.

I’m on my third or fourth read of Dungeon Crawler Carl. I’m almost done with book seven and torn between reading the Patreon version of book eight or reading something else until DCC eight comes out in May.

Sharpe's Triumph, by Bernard Cornwell. And for a complete tonal shift, Collected Prose by Franz Kafka, in translation.
