This is the first time I'd seen what Fall Guys actually looked like. The only reason why I know what it is is because people keep saying that Sonic Rumble copied the playstyle.

It's definitely different (a lot more luck-based) than most Sonic games. Occasionally frustrating, fun, and ridiculously addictive. What you described can sound like me playing Sonic Rumble at times, haha. Part of me does miss playing the comparatively more laid-back Sonic games, but I don't often have access to my consoles right now. And there is a cool community around mobile gaming here.
