I am so tired of having insomnia. Yeah, yeah, I probably should stop doing screen time before bed. But WHEN do I even get it.

Also omg my work is such a shit show. I can ramble about it like every fucking day. I am so tired. But we are government funded creatives and it's like the worst of both worlds. Also we have Game of Thrones type of shit drama and I've never been into it.

Have you tried the alphabet thing? You pick a short word without repeated letters. Like "snore". Then you go through each letter of that word, trying to think of as many words as you can that begin with that letter. When you run out of words, you move to the next letter. I haven't finished a word yet without drifting off.

Tbf I fall asleep quite easily most of the time. It just staying asleep is a problem. And I can't make my environment better for sleep (someone in my household is always fucking awake).

Have you tried a blue-light reducing app? I have flux on my computer, and it has helped a lot even when I use it at night.

Also, insomnia sucks, and I'm really sorry. And sorry about your sucky job too. I really hope things get better for you.

Yeah, I use yellow light app and actually I don't think that devices especially affect me frankly.
It's more constant sounds (household, city, early morning garbage collectors etc) and I kinda hate earplugs. It's always too hot close to morning for some reason. Also anxiety major sucks. D:
