Re: I have anger issues and find it hard to forgive.
(Anonymous) 2026-02-19 02:39 pm (UTC)(link)So, I was a young(ish) adult during the aughts, but this reminds me of an episode of Drake and Josh I caught on TV. I can't remember the exact events, but Josh kept getting riled up over Drake's inconsiderate behavior that sometimes got him into bad situations. And Drake never seemed to be concerned about it. At one point, Josh simply announced he was "done" with Drake... not in a mean way, just stepping back calmly, and from that point on, his life got considerably better while Drake's got worse. Of course, the show couldn't continue without a resolution so they eventually reconciled, but I just liked how Josh approached the situation... just letting go of someone who wasn't good to him and focusing on his own life.
Life is too short, and I agree it is definitely more peaceful if you're not stressing out over and stuck with interactions that feel detrimental to your mental health.
