Like idk it seems weird that the OP and people agreeing with OP of this get mad when people dare talk about anything outside their highly specific scenario. It happened in the comment this secret came from too.

There's been a lot of aggressive bastards here again lately. Mention anything that they don't 100% agree with and you get swarmed by jerks announcing you're a trollish child just because you phrased something different from how they would have. Some people just exist to be miserable.

I don't think that was particularly jerkish, and I never called anyone a troll. I was just saying that isn't a comparable situation, is it? If someone likes a ship and doesn't like haters of it, that's not the same thing.

Sorry, I didn't mean you specifically or you comment, just in general. Like the second comment on secret 2 comes off as a miserable jerk, along with a number of other comments lately.

Haha it's cool. I was going like what did I do?? That other comment wasn't me either btw. Tone is hard to read over the internet but I really wasn't trying to be malicious, just being like 'hmm that seems not quite the same', not a judgement on whether their opinion was valid or not

I normally like talking to people on here. People are usually good at having conversations, even when they disagree, but lately it's like anything just sets certain people off with insults and the like. Not fun at all.

The secret talked about a circumstance then anon replied about a totally different circumstance, so I don't find it weird to point out? Does ANYONE enjoy being linked to hate of 'their faves'?

i mean.. i took it as.. well "this is an annoying thing haters do that imo makes them just as bad behavior wise as fans"

I mean i think some people are responding to this not as much about whether in one particular situation which they'd prefer but with their experiences of hater behavior being not that different or just as bad as stans sometimes.

Personally I don't choose either bc in my experience (if we're talking about our experience with haters or stans) even if the hater is being chill with ME they're acting just as horrible as a stan to someone else and that's still not someone I wanna be around.
