Well, wrestlers exist in kayfabe, they have scripts and characters written and given to them just like any other actor. People do get confused by this more often than not for some reason though. Like I remember when Rhea and Dom had their romance someone was shocked because they both had SO's irl, it had to be explained to them that Demi Bennett was getting married but Rhea Ripley was not. Some people just don't see the line, it was so strange.
