I've been listening to the Malory Towers audiobooks to fall asleep lately and I know it's not a new discovery but it really pisses me off how much of an insufferable bully Alicia is and how even on the rare occasion the others aren't happy about her behaviour, she still never gets any lasting consequences for it.

What a blast from the past! I loved those books as a kid. I read these and other Enid Blyton books series all the way through and would start again at the beginning. Boarding school sounded so exotic and so much fun.

Ugh, this reminds me of a character in a fic I'm reading. Like the only time his seriously not okay antics get seen as bad is by a secondary character and they 'just don't understand'! I cannot stand characters like that!
