Not the OP but I get the feeling their general sentiment is for more types of games TO be aimed at women. FPS, action-adventures, platformers, aim those specifically at women too and OP will happily buy them, but it's wrong to call them misogynist for not being interested in the existing genres that are currently marketed specifically to female audiences?

OP here and yes, that's exactly it. I'm tired of the games that are aimed at women almost all falling into those particular genres, and I'm even MORE tired of seeing other women say that not being into games made for women must be due to misogyny instead of, y'know, just not being into those types of games. Which is why I said that I'm not into BL games either because romance games in general aren't my thing, it doesn't matter whether the MC is a woman or a man.

Like you said, make an FPS or an action-adventure game targeted at women and I'd be all over those.
