Serious question, is skipping the actual sex scene and reading the script not an option? That seems like the way to go if you don't want to see sex, but do want to see the character development.

Where are show scripts for modern shows/movies hosted?

I just search "show name script" or "transcript" or "subtitles" and it comes up. Google is free, I dunno what to tell ya. Popular shows are more likely to have transcript online.
