Exactly. There are over a thousand shows made in America alone every year. OP was not "forced" to sit through sex scenes to get the plot. They chose to watch a show where intimacy is clearly part of how the story is told.

If OP "fucking hate[s] sex scenes" and the show uses them for major character development, then maybe... just maybe... it wasn’t made for them. That's not oppression, it's just not everything being tailored to a single person's tastes.

Acting like the show committed a crime because it didn't tone itself down is ridiculous. They could have turned it off at literally any point. Watched something else. No one had a gun to their head.

There are thousands of other shows out there. If it was that miserable, why keep watching? Life is short. Why spend your free time hate-watching something and then acting shocked that it didn't magically change for you? If they cared about the plot that much, Google a recap and call it a day.

For real. I wish more people would be accepting of the idea that not everyone is going to enjoy everything. Sometimes, something will get popular and have lots of fans, and you won't like it. And that's ok, it doesn't mean anything is wrong with you, it doesn't mean anything is wrong with that thing, it just means you don't enjoy it.
