(Anonymous) 2026-03-02 04:54 pm (UTC)(link)Exactly. There are over a thousand shows made in America alone every year. OP was not "forced" to sit through sex scenes to get the plot. They chose to watch a show where intimacy is clearly part of how the story is told.
If OP "fucking hate[s] sex scenes" and the show uses them for major character development, then maybe... just maybe... it wasn’t made for them. That's not oppression, it's just not everything being tailored to a single person's tastes.
Acting like the show committed a crime because it didn't tone itself down is ridiculous. They could have turned it off at literally any point. Watched something else. No one had a gun to their head.
There are thousands of other shows out there. If it was that miserable, why keep watching? Life is short. Why spend your free time hate-watching something and then acting shocked that it didn't magically change for you? If they cared about the plot that much, Google a recap and call it a day.
