Okay, seeing other comments...maybe not? If OP is talking about MAGA calling Trump their daddy (as they do) it makes sense. If this is just about the popularity of daddy kink in fandom, then it is weird.

Without the associated image, I would've thought this was about the popularity of (often untagged) daddy kink in fandom. But the associated image makes me confused as to whether this was actually supposed to be about Trump and Trumpies.

I don't wanna talk about Trump and Trumpies - especially not in a fandom context. I don't even want to talk about Trumpies as though they were a fandom. IMO they're either a hate group, a cult, or both.

I could have things to say about daddy kink and its prevalence in fandom, but not when I can't tell whether the secret is even about that.

God yeah like I hate how people don't seem to consider calling someone daddy in a sexual context to be worth warning for. I'm not even triggered by it, just squicked tf out but it is potentially extremely upsetting and I feel like I've seen more outrage over objectively much milder kink stuff.

Oh, they don't CALL it a kink, which honestly I think is so much worse, but the phrase 'Daddy's home' in particular comes up a lot, and like... a LOT of weird talk about how sometimes Daddy has to take the reins, sometimes you need Daddy to do this, that, and the other thing. It is gross and, given the state of the man, downright delulu (as the kids say), but there is a lot of it.

And here's the thing, I respect a good honest daddy kink. It's not my kink, but it IS a kink I'm happy to enjoy in fic if I think it's a *character's* kink. But there is something that really makes my skin crawl about people saying all this stuff that is indistinguishable from kink, while acting like they are the most vanilla, people who'd call YOU disgusting for engaging in a kink behind closed doors.

Evidently it's rampant at Faux News (which a nauseatingly big number of people still watch). Also, I've seen folks churn out the dumbest AI memes ever depicting Trump with bulging muscles and/or engaging in "alpha" male behavior, so it's not too surprising, sadly.

Idk if OP specified using Trump, but your choice of imagery definitely conveys the creepy and disgust OP feels for daddy kink in general. I have no problem with most daddy kink but this secret picture combo almost makes me change my mind on that lol

I don't know what it says about me that I didn't think this was just a weird image on a secret about daddy kink, I thought it was a real book/comic/dating sim someone had made about Trump and went "oh ffs... of course that would exist."
