Yeah, I saw the trailer, thought a Netflix P&P could in theory be interesting because it's a bit of an unconventional movie studio, but then was thoroughly unimpressed by everything going on there. And I have pretty low standards -- I'm not a stickler for either historical accuracy or fidelity to the book, nor am I super attached to any existing P&P adaptation and set that as the bar for other adaptations to meet or anything, so I'm very easy to please if you say you're making a new P&P adaptation! But if you're going to make changes to the book, I just ask they be fun changes. This one looks so drab and boring!
