Eh, I feel that her adult politics as a whole are ignored because they complicate the narrative of the "inspiring disabled young girl." She was an interesting person with complex views, and had an interesting life with good and bad in it. Disabled people are often treated as perpetual victims or invalids, without the agency to be good or bad of their own volition. That's kind of a tangent off the secret topic though, just my disabled and tired rant lol.
