AAAH are you me? I also tried to watch the show, lasted one episode and an half (I gave the pilot some grace, but I wanted to quit almost immediately) and proceeded to wonder why all my favourite fan writers/artists migrated to such a piece of shit canon for years to come.
The biggest migration I saw was from destiel writers and WTF why would someone who is into supernatural and writes mostly canon verse (that's what I was heavily into at the time) be into a show like that??? It's a fucking mystery to me.

One of my best friend is a gay men who is very into Buddie. He writes fics and I get his love for the characters and fandom, I do, but every time he talks to me about their character arcs in the show and what's up with the fandom I'm bored to tears. I don't get it. And it's been going for, what??? 8 years now???
