I read one of her books and I was honestly so disappointed. I really wanted to love it, but there was something about it that I just didn't really enjoy. I didn't hate it, I just didn't feel engaged with the plot or the characters or the setting or the writing or anything. I haven't picked up anything else of hers since.

Same, I had Wizard of Earthsea on my list of "must-read classics" and it was...okay. Just okay. I literally don't remember anything about it, it didn't engage me at all enough to sink into my memory. I know I read it, that's it. At least I didn't hate it the way I hate Dune.
