A lot of the ones I dislike have already been mentioned but I'll add Xiran Jay Zhao. Classic case of using their race and gender identity to try and silence any criticism and so, so massively up their own ass. And that's not even counting how at most mid those books are. Mid is generous, really.

I love their books, because they're so much fun and full of tropes I personally love. I could even get behind them being all Look At My Awesome Book Nah Nah Nah on the Goodreads page for it because they got so much bro-hate just for the book being "feminist." But I took one look at their YouTube channel and blocked it because the thumbnails alone said "This is not a mature person with mature opinions."
