Basically this. If I had a dime for every time someone tried to sell me on the idea that their favorite MCU movie or TV show was such important and erudite social commentary, I'd be rich by now.

Meanwhile I enjoy the MCU for what it is, and if I want deep social and political commentary, I'll read Vasily Grossman's Life and Fate or something like that.
