No, my mom was a nurse so I was familiar with doctors and hospitals and I’m still comfortable in them. My teeth are too fucked up, so I’m more afraid of missing dental appointments because something major always goes wrong. It’s much easier to catch it early and have it be a little thing. That said, I’ve gotten two crowns in the past year. My dentist is my teeth’s friend.

I generally feel the same way. I get nervous in the moment, but overall I know it's better to go than to avoid. I'm lucky too, where I found a dentist who is super nice, but they don't try to talk to me with their hands in my mouth and basically get the job done.
