Oh for real OP. Like Christian was absolutely a shit boyfriend, no doubt about that, but Dani was also a deeply, deeply troubled person who has something horribly traumatic happen, and it made her kind of latch onto him as the only stable thing in her life. Shit went sideways because neither of them were equipped to handle it.

No one was really at fault, it was a shit situation that got horrifically worse, but people need someone to blame so it tends to be Christian because he already wanted out, and I guess they see his drugged rape as an extension of that? It's a very weird take and one I can't agree with tbh.
