The ambiguity of the overall situation is what makes Midsommar such a powerful horror movie. How can you place blame on any of the outsiders? Can you even place blame on the cult? How do the murders enacted by the cult relate to those enacted by her sister? Such a great movie. Literary-level storytelling.

And yeah, all that apparently went right over those content creators' heads.
