I read book 8 of Dungeon Crawler Carl on Patreon and it is pure filler. I’m kinda half hoping it’s a joke on the author’s part and in May we’ll get the real book. But I know that isn’t the case and instead he was so busy with his tour and writing other things that he churned out garbage. It’s disappointing but the real secret is that I’m annoyed at the fans eating it up.

That'd annoy the hell out of me. Personally, it doesn't matter what he's doing that's keeping him busy, he shouldn't be releasing half assed work just to keep a schedule or whatever.
