Quite a few claims about racism regarding ANYTHING are usually overblown.

Shout out to when Cookie Run had a shark-girl who could magically transform into a cookie-girl, and the cookie form was darker-colored than the shark form, and somehow this was racist.

Also shout out to when people drew fanart of how Dragon Age 2 characters would look under brighter lighting, and people called them racist for not matching the dim lighting from the game.

one of the few poc npcs has a scene where he takes shrooms and then acts like a monkey while high. when the team got called out, they said it was supposed to mimic him panicking, i believe? the team got bombarded with people asking them to address the issue, and they started removing people from their servers in response

This and the fact that they use AI generators is a good reason to avoid it.
