It doesn't help that we have a lot of young people who have been raised to believe that they are entitled to demand that their lives be completely free of any encounters with anything they don't like, that makes them even mildly uncomfortable or that challenges their worldview in any way. Plus, the Internet has trained many people to believe that everything should cater to them and only them, and we have the situation we've got now.
