I loved this show until the last few episode. I don’t know what happened, but the story really stalled and the ending was anticlimactic. The main character basically had no reaction when his wife died, and the bad guys downfall/death was so unsatisfying. I feel like a lot of K-dramas start off strong but have a drop in quality towards the end.

I've watched some that have managed to keep the momentum, but yeah there's still def plenty that have this really weird drop off in the last few episodes where everything gets kind of clumsily slapped together.

I am still never going to forgive Black for introducing a 3rd bad guy in the last episode and then giving the worst slapped together ending.

I haven't watched this show but that last statement is true. I get into a show that has an interesting beginning with interesting characters...but as the show comes to an end, the payoff to certain plots are resolved in unsatisfactory ways. They feel like a shrug because the writer saw the show was coming to an end so that thing they hinted at is revealed as a silly misunderstanding. And the possible tension...is resolved in the second to last episode as the rivals sit down and talk it out.
