BAFTA could have taken steps that would have mitigated or perhaps even prevented this incident easily, but didn't.

And a lot of the reactions have me agreeing with OP. I'm on the autistic spectrum and its so much fun to know that there tons of people who consider themselves compassionate progressives who still consider people like me to be subhuman.
