I get what you mean-- it's about that combination of life experience and maturity. There are 18yo men and there are 20yo boys and there are a LOT of guys in their 30s.

I must admit, as an age gap enjoyer, I'm dying to know what your ship is. One of my biggest lifelong OTPs is between a young guy forced to grow up early and an old guy whose just got the right amount of sheltered upbringing/trauma-based arrested development to feel like they're in step with each other rather than people their own ages.
