Re: What do you like to be called with respect to age and gender?

Guy or dude are fine. Man is technically correct (the best kind of correct!), and 'boy'... 'boy' is kind of weird in that as a disabled trans man who came out as an adult, I never had a boyhood, and so there are times where it feels good to have it applied to me, but like... HEAVILY context-dependent. My friends can call me 'boy' at times, my mother is certainly allowed to call me a boy, but someone I don't know well calling me a boy feels infantilizing because of the disability thing.

Strangers offline will, of course, refer to me as a woman, I'm a short little guy with wide hips and a high voice, I don't begrudge people defaulting to 'woman' before 'hobbit with a high tenor', you know? I don't like it but I accept it.

Straight people cannot call me 'girl' and ideally should not perceive me at all, but there is a certain type of gay man who can call me 'girl' and I'll love it.
