I'm sick for the second time this year, but I still have to get groceries and put the trash out and make sure my pets are safe and fed and all that stuff.

I'm lucky I took yesterday off to do a fun thing so I didn't have unscheduled leave on the books, and today and tomorrow are my normal days off, but my executive functions don't really function at the best of times. Now that I feel like hammered shit, taking out the trash might as well be climbing Everest.
