Addressing the second part, I don't think there's anything wrong with a boring relationship. I'm not here to be thrilled and excited by my partner, I'm here to be chill roommates and teammates that trust each other and can relax around each other. Excitement can be found in hobbies and activities and other things, I don't need interpersonal tension and drama around every corner. Interpersonal intensity is exhausting quickly.
