Re: Opposites attract

Me and gf have different temperaments, as in my temeper is super quick and hot, while hers is calm and patient but she seethes when she does get angry. We balance each other out in terms of impulsivity as well, I don’t plan whereas she does so we get a good mix of those together.

But otherwise we are similar in various ways too. We have the same kind of humor, the same enjoyment in nerd stuff. Stuff that seems small but for us to get along like we do is needed for a long lasting relationship.

I feel the opposites attract thing is more for hookups and quick relationships that are focused on passion above all else and doesn’t translate into much of a lasting connection.
