Oh, no...I always highly estimate the intelligence of curious people.

In addition, studies have shown that if you want to raise kids who do better academically, you should explain the "why" of things (like don't tell them "don't do xyz" but explain the consequences, and encourage curiosity and questions in general.

Hmm. I guess a thing about me is that I walk away from sketchy people, and I kind of thought that was kind of distant or intolerant of me, but the honest assessment is that I don't put up with poor behavior or drama.
