I mean, you can be upset at both. I don't like unnecessary AI in anything, especially when it does more harm than good. Most people won't use it responsibly (and don't give a shit about its impacts), and greedy assholes/billionaires/corporations) throw hissy fits when you want to put regulations on it.

And if the world has to turn to shit, I'd rather my escapes (which includes fandom) NOT have shitty, shitty AI all over it. My stuff might suck, but at least I created it, and I expect the same effort from fellow fanwork creators.
