(Anonymous) 2026-03-30 01:10 am (UTC)(link)Depends on the college/university. I have a friend who went to her state university, and it was basically the 13th grade. I dug into my memories and walked her through 10th grade punnet squares for her junior year at her university. My college, on the other hand, had a requirement to write and orally defend a thesis to graduate, not with honors, just to graduate, which is usually a task more for Masters or PhD degrees in the US. So, YMMV.

(Anonymous) 2026-03-30 02:39 am (UTC)(link)Again, YMMV. I received a grant and later a scholarship at ~$100k, so I graduated with about $36k in debt. She did not get scholarships or grants, and with in-state tuition costs her debt came out to around $34k. My wife recently did a masters at our state university, and it cost about $70k, no grants or scholarships.
