More a vent than a thing I don't understand but the reason why I want to end it all

Example - today I messaged one of few family members I am in contact with still. I ask them if they could message the plumber for me tomorrow morning (because it's past 10pm) because I am in too much pain, I'm having severe health issues and am afraid they will ring the bell at 9 and I won't hear because I took too many meds (they wake up early to go to work) Simple enough, right?

They pretended not to understand. No "sorry, I can't" no "sure, I can do that". Maybe they actually didn't comprehend my request but I suspect that's not the case. It's more fuck no and good luck to her waking up or dealing with the plumber's complaint late

Like why is it so hard for some people to say yes or no. Mind you that's a family member someone whom I am supposedly close to. Supposedly is the keyword here I guess, I wonder how many close family members one can have when we are unemployed and ill lmao

But yeah. I'm sitting here like okay, there's an ill person, I could send a message tomorrow morning, it's free takes 5 min and they're now indebted to me but instead I will just fucking ignore that request and leave them to their own non-resources. And that's going to help us all somehow.

The irrationality of people I guess is a good way to put it. Just people who are petty or gossip and all that shit are also good examples. Like, how is that helping us all? "oh I'm having fun" go.. fucking take a walk, crochet, find a hobby? tf
