Well, the case I mentioned a few weeks ago where it was an obvious win by a woman and her son who were both abused by her ex? Well, government actually did file an appeal. We have a plan for getting her out in detention, and they aren't going to win the appeal. But this is going to take longer, she's going to have to be in there a while longer, and I'm just so angry.

Honestly, last week there were a bunch of fucked up things in court too. I'm not feeling defeated or depressed so much as just freaking angry.

I have lived with a friend for 8 years and they still don't know where the dishes go. They know where "their" stuff goes but if emptying the dishwasher and it is something they don't use, they either put it in the wrong (random) place or just leave it sitting on the counter. It drives me nuts. How hard is it to just pay attention to your surroundings? Or ask me where it goes? Apprently very!

Such a silly thing to be annoyed by yet here I am. And yes, we have had talks about this before. They never change.

It's always a sad feeling when you read an incredible fic and the author has disabled comments because they got disillusioned with the story and want to forget it exists.

I had guests staying over and they consistently leave the bathroom door shut and the light on after they're done.

It bugs me for two main reasons:
- One, it makes it hard to tell whether there's someone in there. I waited and waited for them to get finished before finally realizing it was actually empty.
- Two, it's clearly a bathroom with no outdoor window. So you need to leave the door open to let air circulate, both for damp and for smells. (There's also a built-in fan, but they clearly don't understand the concept, even after it was shown to them.)

I just don't get it. What is the reason to leave the bathroom like that? It takes a little extra effort to close the door after you, so it's not even just laziness or forgetfulness.

The light on I don't know, but I know some households close the door for various reasons. Pets, kids, some people think it more polite or clean. I have a weird hate of knocking on doors so I am with you in wanting it open if unoccupied.

Thanks, that does make some sense. I can see it being a sense of politeness or civility.

I think they leave the light on because it's in a half-basement level and so it does get rather dark in there. There's a sort of skylight for some sunshine and a nightlight for the night, but neither are very bright. I guess if the house is unfamiliar to you, it might be more reassuring to be able to see into the bathroom all the time.

I'm with you about knocking on doors, especially bathroom doors. I hate it when someone does that while I'm in there, it feels very intrusive and I suddenly feel rushed. So I also hate the idea that I'm inflicting that feeling on others.

Yup. My aunt's dog and my cousin's cat like to try to drink from the toilet and attack the bathroom trashcan, so the door has to be shut and the seat down at their house.

Yeah, I close the bathroom door just out of habit now because my sister's cat had a bad habit of shredding the toilet paper if she was able to get to it.

I understand why people close the door, but it drives me mad.
I have a litter box in the toilet room. So. You know. My cats can fucking use it. And occasional guests keep shutting the door.

I'm tired of men who are dismissive of women, and who genuinely believe that women aren't capable of the same emotions and feelings as men are.

I bought an inexpensive wireless headset because the nicer one I have is kind of uncomfortable to wear for extended periods. This one is a Logitech and it's Bluetooth and it likes to randomly cut out. It's honestly super annoying. The other one I have is much more expensive and really nice quality, this one is junky.

So tired of men who think women aren't capable of the same depth of emotion as men. Who act like women can't possibly have real problems or can't understand the problems that men have.

I fucking tired of my job, it's so damn toxic. For example, my department was recently reported for not doing our job, not because we don't but because there is a group that wants all organisation to themselves. And they are literal. Fucking. Nazis. I call them this not because I don't like them but because they are alt-right nationalists.
But frankly I am scared of looking for one. I've always been bad at job interview games, but right now jobs even less available.
