It's an April Fool's joke. It's a fake country called San Serriffe that Worldle created.

Yep - my Dad got it for me. Not the sort of thing he usually did, but the joke must have landed for him. It was all a bit of fun in a dreary decade. The Guardian did another pull-out section the next year, about how the islands were migrating at speed across the ocean due to erosion and deposition, and so on. It all got a bit Monty Python.

Not sure what happened to the t-shirt, but it's been a looong time.

Well I live in my timezone, so I post the game in my timezone. And the games are specifically numbered to avoid timezone confusion, because the game creators already thought of that.
