Beating a dead horse at this point, but I'll say it.

Tony Stark. I ended up hating him by the end of MCU (I noped out after the first Thanos movie) but I doubley hate the fandom version of him.

Sammeeeeeeeeee. Well, I can still read Steve/Tony fic but otherwise don't care for him.

I wish I could read Tony fic. There is so much out there! But my annoyance with the character even seeped into fic.

It helps that I read Steve centered fics so it isn't all about Tony being annoying.

Totally agree. I liked him a lot in the first two Iron Man movies. He was okay in Avengers. After that he got annoying, especially when everything always centered around him even in other people's movies.

Yuuuup. I only got into the Marvel movies because I loved Tony Stark but holy shit did they completely ruin his character. I can't stand MCU!Stark anymore.

Always a good thing to hear! Very much agree!

I loved his first two movies, but then his shit in Ultron turned me off ("That was never my life" he said to the people who stared down one of his bombs, when his whole hero origin was staring at one of his bombs and realizing how responsible he was whether he liked it or not), and everything after that just made him worse.

That's such a popular opinion everywhere I go... I forget that there are mainstream MCU fans who never got sick of him, but yeah. I feel you.

Related, I hate Bucky Barnes-- I suppose that's a little hyperbolic, I don't generally *care* enough about Bucky to hate him, but I hate stucky, and my hatred for the ship makes the character less palatable just because I know people who love stucky, and I don't want to yuck a friend's yum, but like... I hated Civil War so much, and for so long I could not get away from how it was the shippiest movie in the world and their love is so yadda yadda yadda.
